ADGP Armed Conducted review meeting of Armed/IR units

Jammu: ADGP Armed J&K Anand Jain on Tuesday chaired a review meeting with DIsGP AP/IR Jammu/Kashmir ranges & all the Commandants of AP/IR Units at APHQ Jammu through video conferencing., however the Jammu city-based commandants attended the said meeting in person.
The ADGP took feedback of various issues/directions passed during the previous meeting concerning the overall improvement of Battalion functioning and welfare of jawans. It was enjoined upon the Commandants to put up their respective manpower on regular training courses and also identify the personnel for specialized courses, with particular emphasis on the New Criminal Laws.
The ADGP Armed emphasized that sports activities should be included in the Battalions curriculum and regular route marches to be conducted at Battalion level regularly, and sports calendars should be formulated at Battalion level.
Besides, among others the meeting was also attended by Ms. Sarah Rizvi, DIG IR Jammu Shahid Mehraj, DIG Armed Kashmir, Vinod Kumar, DIG AP Jammu, all Commandants of Jammu and Kashmir Based Battalions.
