DLTFC approves 75 loan cases under JKREGP in Doda

Doda : A meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) on Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh to review and approve loan cases under the scheme.
The meeting was attended by District Program Officer, S. Parmjeet Singh; CPO Manesh Kumar Manhas; District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Qazi; ALC Nehal Pandit; ARTO Sheetal Sharma; Zonal Manager JK Bank, representatives from the District Industries Centre (DIC), Employment Department, SBI, J&K Bank, Polytechnic College, and other concerned departments.
At the outset, the District Officer briefed the committee about the JKREGP scheme and shared a list of 97 applicants recieved through the JKREGP online portal. The Committee scrutinized all cases, and 75 applicants, who were present, were interviewed regarding their proposed business ventures.
After careful evaluation, the Committee approved 75 loan applications, paving the way for aspiring entrepreneurs to start their businesses under the JKREGP scheme. The approved applicants will receive financial assistance to establish their ventures, promoting self-employment and economic growth in the district.
The DDC emphasized the importance of the scheme in generating employment opportunities and urged beneficiaries to utilize the financial support effectively. The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue supporting local entrepreneurs and fostering economic development in the region.
