Jammu : Police in Jammu on Saturday said that District Police Jammu apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for several years in a case registered at Police Station Bishnah.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office Jammu, Police said that a team of Police Station Bishnah arrested Lucky Kumar S/O Munsha Singh, a resident of Laswara Bishnah, who was wanted in connection with FIR No. 185/2011 under Sections 279 and 304-A of the RPC, Stating therein further that the said accused had been on the run following the issuance of a warrant under Section 512 CrPC by the JMIC Bishnah. In the concluding para of its above quoted statement that the said accused Lucky Kumar had managed to avoid arrest for years after committing the crime. “Following his apprehension, all legal formalities were completed, and he was produced before the Court for judicial determination”, reads the Police statement.
