R-Day-2025: Full Dress Rehearsal held at MA Stadium, Div Com-(J) inspects parade, hoists tricolor

Jammu : The full dress rehearsal for J&K level celebration of Republic Day-2025 was held at M A Stadium Jammu, on Friday.
The parade consisted of men and women contingents from Army, BSF, CRPF, JKP, JKAP, IRP, SSB, NCC cadets, Bharat Scouts and guides, Ex servicemen, J&K Forest Protection Force, UTDRF, JK Fire & Emergency Services and school students.
Pipe and Brass bands of BSF, JKP, JKAP, Army and school students played tunes to the march past.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar inspected the Parade and took the salute at the impressive March Past and hoisted the tricolor.
School children and artists of J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages presented a colorful cultural programme featuring theme based presentations. Dare Devils of Jammu and Kashmir Police mesmerised the audience by their spectacular and thrilling performances.
The cultural items depicted national integration, unity in diversity, harmony and composite culture of Jammu Kashmir, besides featuring patriotic songs, folk music and dance.
Tableaux on themes celebrating cultural diversity of J&K, PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna, Swarnim Bharat Ki Virasat: Sahkar se Vikas, Fit India Movement, War Against Drugs, highlighted initiatives and achievements of the Government.
Senior officers from J&K administration, Nodal officers and the in-charges were also present.
