Additionally, the Mission Director stressed the importance of establishing nurseries for niche crops such as Pecanut, Saffron, and Kalazeera, and highlighted the need for efficient procurement of seeds under the Niche Crop program. He also reviewed the progress of nursery establishments under HADP Projects.
Rahul Yadav specifically stressed on the establishment of millet mills under Project Promotion of Nutri Cereals (Millets) and the need to achieve targets within the given timeframe.
The Mission Director sought submission of detailed information regarding non-responsive application IDs on the Kisan Sathi Portal, specifically for those applications that remained inactive after 90 days of sanction.
The meeting concluded with discussions on the importance of organising workshops for farmers under HADP, especially on organic farming practices. Progressive farmers will be invited to participate in these workshops to share knowledge and experience.
It was reported during the meeting that the majority of the allocated funds had already been successfully utilized, and the remaining targets are expected to be completed within the set timelines.
