A quick response to such a situation could have brought the situation under control much before the loss of lives would touch the double digit mark. While the onus to bring the situation under control through immediate measures lies solely on the Government particularly the Health Ministry and Secretary Health & Medical Education but critics and the opposition need not to exploit the situation to their own advantage and should instead try to bring down the rising tempers of local populations by cooperation and coordination with the authorities of the local hospitals in Budhal area of Rajouri district. Since this is a matter of the health safety of the people, wisdom demands that people both in the Government and well as leaders in the opposition try to reduce the lapses in the delivery of health services and facilitate the outreach of the health warriors in trouble hit Budhal area for strengthening the system of health emergencies. Now that Government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of J&K Police to look into the alleged criminal angles of the situation the leaders and the local population have a bigger role in stabilising the situation in Budhal area and focus more on working of health emergencies than other trivial issues which can be resolved after normalization of the situation in Budhal.
