Jammu: Valedictory function of one-month Entrepreneurship Skill training programme in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Machines and AutoCAD was held Thursday at Government Polytechnic Jammu.
The programme was organized by the college in collaboration with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME) Jammu.
Principal, Government Polytechnic, Jammu, Er Arun Bangotra, was the chief guest on the valedictory function.
In his address, Bangotra congratulated the students and highlighted the importance of skill development courses to meet today’s market trends. He emphasized upon the participants to adopt self employment ventures and become job providers rather than Job seekers.
The program was coordinated by Vinujee Koul from MSME DI Jammu.
The main aim of the workshop was to motivate the students for taking up the self employment and setting up their own enterprise.
Others present on the occasion were Er Inderjeet Singh, Workshop Supdt, Er. Kuldeep Bhatia, HOD, Mechanical Engg, Rajesh Khajuria, T.P.O, Er Khalid Sheikh, Er Pardeep Singh, staff and students.
