Similar such IEC campaigns were also held across the district at the sub division and tehsil levels where the Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the respective constituencies spearheaded these programs to empower the public about the benefits of these schemes.
The campaign witnessed an overwhelming response from the local population including representatives and other stakeholders, empowering them to take full advantage of these schemes for their economic upliftment.
The event began with the Minister inspecting the informative stalls set up by different government departments, providing detailed information on the schemes, their objectives and process for availing the benefits.
In a series of comprehensive presentations, senior officials from various departments highlighted the scope and importance of the schemes. Key emphasis was laid on the transformative potential of these initiatives in empowering the rural population and enhancing their livelihoods.
In his address, the Minister highlighted the transformative potential of HADP to modernise agriculture, PM Surya Ghar to promote solar energy adoption and Mission YUVA to empower youth through skill-building and entrepreneurship.
Javed Dar urged all the stakeholders, including farmers, youth and local leaders to actively participate in these schemes, emphasising their potential to transform the economic landscape of the region.
The DC provided an in-depth presentation on the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Mission Yuva and PM Surya Ghar Yojana. He highlighted how these schemes are tailored to address critical challenges in agriculture, youth empowerment and renewable energy adoption.
Later, the Minister handed over the keys of tractors, weeders and other agricultural machinery to the beneficiaries under HADP and various other schemes.
