Jammu: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) and Tribal Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali on Tuesday felicitated meritorious players of table tennis after the culmination of the 39th Stag J&K State and Inter district table tennis championship.
The championship was organized by J&K table tennis association in which 250 players of various age groups from all districts of J&K participated and showcased their talent.
On the occasion, the Minister said the state has no dearth of talent and such events unveil the hidden potential of young aspirants of the state. He also suggested the sports aspirants to put in their mind in sports and work with dedication to achieve their goal.
Moreover, the Minister said participation in sports activities is must for overall development and stressed on the winning players work hard for the upcoming national level tournaments.
The minister was accompanied by the Chief Sports Officer, Abdul Qayoom, Sports Officer Ravi Singh, Joint Secretary Kashmir Sports Council, Nazir Ahmad and other concerned officials.
