Udyam Jagriti: Mission Yuva launches panchayat level awareness campaign across J&K

Jammu : In a significant move, a transformative panchayat level awareness campaign titled ‘Udyam Jagriti’ has been launched under the ambitious Mission YUVA to ignite entrepreneurial spirit and empower communities across Jammu and Kashmir.
On the inaugural day, a series of events were successfully conducted across all 20 districts at the district level led by respective Deputy Commissioners/district officials/ADs/DDs of employment department. Similarly, these events were held across 285 blocks covering 900 panchayats led by respective Block Development Officers of J&K .
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from local communities, where attendees were introduced to the core objectives of Mission Yuva, the significance of entrepreneurship and inspiring success stories of entrepreneurs from Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 10 thousand people participated in the mega awareness campaign across the J&K. Around 1,000 youth registered on the first day itself on Youth Skill and Entrepreneurship App, showing a keen interest on the aims and objectives of the Mission.
Through Udyam Jagriti, the campaign aims to foster innovation and self-reliance by highlighting the power of entrepreneurship as a catalyst for economic growth and social change. The initiative seeks to connect grassroots communities with resources, networks and opportunities essential for starting and sustaining businesses.
In the coming two months, Udyam Jagriti will extend its reach to all 4291 panchayats of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring widespread awareness and participation at the village level.
