Sopore: In the ongoing Riyaz Memorial cricket Tournament being played at Showkat Ali Stadium Baramulla KANDI LIONS captain Mir Ishafaq won the toss and while batting first Kandi lions scored defendable total of 146 runs in alloted 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Shakoor played a superb knock of 40 runs in just 28 balls with the help of 7 boundaries .The quick fire 39 runs by Jahangir lone helped the kandi lions to reach the total of 146. In reply SCC singpora was just 6 runs short of chasing down the target,they scored 140 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Maijd scored 49 runs, Mama scored 28 runs for SCC Singpora. JAHNGIR LONE destroyed the batting line up of SCC Singpora and got 3 wickets. Jahangir Lone was declared Man of the match for his tremendous all rounder performance.
