Training Prog for agriculture census Phase-ll held in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: A training programme for field functionaries, supervisors and enumerators of Revenue Department for Agricultural Census, Phase-ll was on Saturday organised at Meeting Hall DC Office Kishtwar.
Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Kishtwar, Idrees Lone, who is also Nodal Officer of the district for the census programme was present at the event.
Besides, various revenue officers including Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Patwaries of district Kishtwar participated in the programme.
The training focused mainly on the collection of data on the number of agricultural operational holders, land use, digitisation and kind of soil, besides tenancy status and irrigation facilities.
On the occasion, Master Trainers from the Office of Financial Commissioner Revenue, Jammu explained the importance and methods of agriculture census through a detailed powerpoint presentation (PPT). This agricultural census in a phased manner is continuing through an Android App and web based system in Kishtwar district which is very significant for the planners and policy makers.
