Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has attached single storied concrete residential House valuing approximately Rs 30 lakhs as per market belonging to a drug peddler identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat S/o Abdul Ahad Bhat R/o Larkipora Padgampora Awantipora, under section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the residential house was illegally acquired during the course of enquiry conducted by SHO Police Station Awantipora under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora which have accrued from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic Substances by the said drug peddler. Police in its statement further said that the said drug peddler is involved in case FIR No. 212/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act of PS Awantipora reiterating therein its commitment to combat the drug menace.
