Paras Health Srinagar, established with the vision of providing quality and affordable healthcare, has steadily advanced over the past year. By addressing the region’s long-standing challenges, where residents often had to travel for specialized treatments, the hospital has brought critical healthcare services closer to home. While still expanding its capabilities, Paras Health has been able to locally manage procedures such as cardiac interventions, neurology, radiology interventional procedures and oncological treatments, ensuring accessibility of quality care.
Paras Health is constantly in pursuit of enhancing the use of technology to improve healthcare delivery in the region. Through systems like Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the Paras App, the hospital has streamlined patient care, making services more efficient and accessible. These innovations are central to its goal of delivering affordable and seamless healthcare experiences. Beyond hospital walls, Paras Health has started community outreach, conducting nearly 170 health camps across districts such as Bandipora, Kupwara, Anantnag, and Kargil, reaching over 8,000 to 9,000 individuals. These initiatives include more than 40-50 health awareness talks held in colleges, government offices, corporates, and schools, emphasizing preventive healthcare and golden hour awareness to improve emergency response outcomes. By promoting preventive health measures and fostering awareness in schools and communities, Paras Health is actively working to improve health outcomes in the region. Through its outreach, the hospital aims to create a healthier future while ensuring that healthcare remains accessible and affordable for all. During the event, Santy Sajan, COO of Paras Health, highlighted the organization’s role in shaping the region’s healthcare future. “At Paras Health, we are redefining healthcare in Jammu & Kashmir by combining advanced technology with compassionate care. Our digitized systems are empowering patients and streamlining services, while our outreach efforts ensure that even the most remote communities have access to quality healthcare. We are committed to creating a future where affordable, world-class medical care is accessible to all in the region,” she said. To enhance healthcare accessibility, Paras Health Srinagar is offering discounted rates on select cardiac procedures until December 30, 2024. These include services like angiography, pacemaker implantation, and angioplasty, along with complimentary emergency expert consultations and ambulance services within a 5km radius during this period. The conclave emphasized the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing healthcare. Paras Health is playing a role in these efforts by supporting initiatives to enhance accessibility, affordability, and innovation in the region.
