IIM Jammu Engages Alumni in Online Meet, Announces Upcoming Reunion

Jammu : Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu hosted an engaging Online Alumni Meet, bringing together alumni from Batch 1 to Batch 7 of MBA, MBA Healthcare Administration and Hospital Management
(HA & HM), and Executive MBA (EMBA).
The event witnessed active participation from 170 alumni, highlighting their
enduring bond with their alma mater and their commitment to its growth. The meeting was chaired by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, who extended a heartfelt welcome to all alumni, acknowledging their remarkable contributions to their respective fields and to the institute’s growing legacy. He highlighted the importance of formalizing the Alumni Association of IIM Jammu as a structured platform to foster collaboration, share experiences, and enhance professional networks. During his address, he shared an update on
the latest developments at IIM Jammu, including academic advancements, infrastructure expansion, and strategic initiatives. He invited feedback from the alumni, emphasizing the value of their insights in shaping the institute’s
future. He also formally extended an invitation to the Alumni Meet scheduled for 25th January 2025 at the Jagti Campus, IIM Jammu, describing it as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, celebrate their shared journey, and
contribute to the institute’s progress. He said that IIM Jammu’s alumni are an integral part of its growth story. Strengthening this association will ensure a collaborative and impactful journey ahead, benefiting the institute and its
extended community. Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, addressed the gathering and underscored the pivotal role of alumni in enhancing the institute’s reputation and creating a vibrant professional network. He outlined plans for strengthening the Alumni Association and emphasized its role in fostering a meaningful relationship between alumni and the institute.
The event also featured Dr. Pradeep K Tarei, Chairperson, Alumni, IIM Jammu, and Dr. Jaganth G., Co-Chairperson, Alumni, IIM Jammu, who shared their vision for the Alumni Association. They highlighted the significance of creating
platforms for continuous engagement and collaboration, ensuring that the alumni community remains an active and integral part of the IIM Jammu ecosystem.
The interactive session provided a platform for alumni to share their experiences and perspectives while fostering a
sense of camaraderie and belonging. The lively discussions and enthusiastic participation reflected the alumni's
commitment to contributing to the institute's legacy and future.
The Online Alumni Meet concluded on a high note, with participants expressing their excitement for the upcoming
Alumni Meet 2025 and reaffirming their commitment to supporting IIM Jammu's growth and success. This event
marked another step forward in IIM Jammu's efforts to build a strong and dynamic alumni network.
