Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Women) Tournament Commences At JU

Jammu: The Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Women) Tournament 2024-25, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, commenced on Wednesday at the Kho-Kho ground University of Jammu.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion of the Kho-Kho (W) tournament 2024-25, in the presence of Dr. Mandeep Singh, Mr. Vimal Kishore, Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, Sh. Vikas Karlopia, Sh. Gagan Kumar, S. Padam Dev Singh, Jai Bharat, Inderjeet Singh, Sh. Manjeet Kotwal, Ms. Vandna Sharma and other dignitaries, players, officials from various affiliated colleges of University of Jammu on the occasion. Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba interacted with the players, inspiring them with his words of encouragement and emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and fair play in sports. His address aimed to inspire the participants to strive for excellence while fostering sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The tournament promises to showcase thrilling matches as colleges from across the region compete for the title, celebrating the spirit of competition and unity.
