Srinagar: Former Minister and Chairman “Jammu & Kashmir Bachao Tehreek” has said that central government directing state government at the instance of Dineshwar Sharma the new point man of central
government on Kashmir dialogue to release political prisoners shows to what extent the power and authority of the state government has been eroded.
Addressing a day long convention of his party “Jammu & Kashmir Bachao Tehreek” in Srinagar today Vakil said during previous regimes district SPs used to release first time and even two time stone pelters but now Home Minister Rajnath Singh has directed Mehbooba Government to release first time stone pelters on the advice of Dineshwar Sharma and this shows Dineshwar Sharma wields more power and authority than the elected Chief Minister of the state.
Hitting out at three time former Chief Minister and National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah for his party’s role in sabotaging the resolution of Kashmir issue from time to time during
last seventy years Vakil said Farooq Abdullah’s advice to the then central government to bombard Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PaK) and Pakistan when he was chief minister is unforgettable remark for the
people of Jammu & Kashmir. He asked Farooq Abdullah to explain his position on enforcing all draconian laws including POTA and AFSPA and establishing counter militancy operation group SOG in Jammu & Kashmir police. Saying that dynasty rule founded by National Conference during
last seventy year is worst than dictatorship , Vakil asked Farooq Abdullah to explain as to why he is not allowing any one outside his family to hold the presidency of his party and emerge as Chief Ministerial candidate for the future. Saying that dynasty rule won’t be allowed to grow any more and stop others from taking up the role of leaders, Vakil asked Farooq Abdullah not to try to mislead and befool people just for power. He vowed to fight all divisive forces hell bent upon creating communal and regional divides in Jammu & Kashmir state
