Ang: People observed a complete shutdown in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag town Thursday to remember locals three militants who were killed on this day in 2015.
Three Hizb militants-Aadil Ahmad Sheikh of Goriwan, Tanveer Ahmad Bhat of Baba Mohalla and Sartaj Ahmad Lone of Wubzan village were killed on this day in 2015 in a gunfight with government forces in Siligam Aishmuqam village of Anantnag district.
Reports said that all the shops and business establishments remained shut while vehicular movement was also disrupted.
A large number of people visited Martyrs Graveyard to offer tributes to the slain militants.
