Property worth 1.72 Cr of drug peddler attached in B’la: Police

Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has attached multiple properties worth Rs. 1.72 Xr belonging to a drug peddler namely Rafiq Ahmad Khan @ Rafi Rafa S/o Gh Hassan R/o Trikanjan Boniyar, Baramulla.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the seized properties include double storied residential houses at Chowadhi Jammu and Trikanjan Boniyar besides vehicles (Tipper, Trailer, and Scorpio, adding therein that the said properties were illegally acquired properties during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by police. Stating that the properties were acquired from illicit trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances by the drug peddler, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that it has registered a case under sections 68-E read with 68-F (1) of NDPS Act of 1985 and linked it with the case FIR No. 134/2016 u/s 8/21, 29 NDPS Act of Police Station Gangyal Jammu.
