Kulgam : The Department of Education at GDC Frisal hosted a seminar titled “Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Indian Education” on Tuesday in celebration of “National Education Day.”
Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmad Shah, Head of the Department of Education, emphasized the significance of values in fostering societal development and community cohesion during his address.
Other speakers provided insights into the historical context of National Education Day and highlighted the relevance of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s educational philosophy in today’s world.
Several students from the college also contributed to the discussion, stressing the necessity of instilling moral, spiritual, and social values among students.
Prof. Mehnaza Jan, the Convener of Protocol, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants for their involvement.
