Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, AtharAamir Khan on Tuesday paid a visit to the PALAASH Children Home for Boys Manzgam to oversee the facilities provided to the students at the institution.
During the visit, he interacted warmly with the children, discussing their well-being, academic progress and daily routines.
The children shared their experiences and aspirations, while the DC offered words of encouragement, assuring them of the administration’s dedication to their welfare and development.
In addition to his interactions, DC conducted a thorough inspection of the facilities, closely examining the living conditions, educational resources, healthcare provisions.
With winter approaching, he directed authorities to ensure adequate heating arrangements to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the children.
The DC reiterated the administration’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for children in institutional care, emphasizing that every child deserves an atmosphere that nurtures growth and encourages them to reach their full potential.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by ADC,Viqar Ahmad Giri, SDM Noorabad, DSWO, BMO DH Pora, TSWOs and other officers.
