Piping ceremony held at Distt Police Office Shopian; Grand feast “Bada Khana” organised at DPL Shopian

Srinagar : A Piping ceremony was held on Monday at District Police Office Shopian where Senior Superintendent of Police Shopian Anayat Ali Chowdhary along with Addl. SP Shopian Shukat Rafiq and other senior officers adorned newly promoted Head constables with the new rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs).
The SSP Shopian and other senior officers offered their sincere congratulations to the newly promoted officers and advised them to work with zeal and enthusiasm for welfare of society. Piping ceremony was followed by a grand feast “Bada Khana” organised at DPL Shopian, in order to boost the morale of officers/officials. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Shopian, called upon the police personnel to maintain high standards of decency and discipline during on duty and off duty hours. He further motivated them to render better services to the people and appealed them to show professionalism, transparency and sensitivity in their functioning.
