Srinagar: The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbalon Wednesday flagged-off Neeraj Kumar Projapati, popularly known as ‘The Bicycle man of India’ on a 1100 kms cycle ride from Srinagar to Baramulla and then to other districts of Kashmir to promote ‘Mission Organic Kashmir.’
Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture lauded the endeavour of Neeraj Kumar Prajapati for promoting different Agriculture crops of Kashmir. He underscored the intervention by the department to raise awareness about the different programs of the Department.
He mentioned KisanSamparkAbhiyan and other such initiatives by the department for the promotion of organic Agriculture in the region.
Many senior officers of the Department were present on the occasion.
