Youth killed, 2 injured as vehicle overturns in Lawaypora

Srinagar : A youth was killed while two others suffered injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle near the national highway at Lawaypora area of the City outskirts on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that an XUV 500 bearing registration number DL12CH-4336 overturned near Lawaypora area of the City outskirts, leaving three persons wounded.
He said they were immediately shifted to the hospital, where one among them died and the two others are receiving medical aid.
He identified the deceased as Momin Masoodi, son of Gowhar Masoodi, a resident of HMT, while the two others were identified as Imad Javid, son of Javid Masoodi and Affan Aijaz Lone, son of Aijaz Ahmad Lone—all residents of Lawaypora HMT, Srinagar. Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.
