Jammu: The J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) has hailed the J&K bowler Waqas Nisar and Batsman Karanveer for their exemplary performamce in the ongoing U16 tournament at Chandigarah.
In a post on X formerly called “twitter” the Member Administration J&K Cricket Association Brigadier (Retd) Anil Gupta wrote “On the first day of 2-day match against Mizoram in Balram Das Tandon Memorial U16 Tournament being hosted by UTCA at Chandigarh, J&K bowled out Mizoram for 85 runs”. In yet another post Brigadier (Retd) Gupta wrote “ Splendid leg break bowling by Waqas Nisar ( 6 for 17) was the highlight of the innings. In reply J&K was 198/4 at the draw of stumps. A brilliant unbeaten 100 by Karanveer (124 n.o.) dominated the J&K innings. He was ably supported by stylish right hand batsman Smagey Khajuria (48). Well played J&K.”
