DLSA G’bal launches awareness campaign to promote NALSA’s toll-free helpline no 15100

Ganderbal : In accordance with the directions of National Legal Services Authority and J&K Legal Services Authority, and under the guidance of Abdul Nasir, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ganderbal, the Secretary DLSA Ganderbal, Sheikh Babar Hussain on Tuesday launched an awareness campaign for NALSA’s toll-free legal aid helpline number 15100 in District Ganderbal.
The initiative aims to provide accessible and equitable justice to all citizens, particularly marginalized and vulnerable sections of society through NALSA Helpline 15100.
Secretary DLSA Ganderbal highlighted the key features of NALSA Helpline toll free number 15100. He said, Call 15100 without incurring any charges, access legal aid anytime, anywhere in any language through NALSA Helpline 15100. This initiative will bridge the gap between citizens and the legal system, providing free legal assistance, advice, and guidance to needy persons at the earliest without visiting any office.
He apprised that the NALSA Helpline 15100 offered Legal advice and guidance, awareness on legal rights and entitlements, referral to local legal services authorities and panel lawyers and moreover guidance on mediation and conciliation. He also apprised that every person can call for any legal aid assistance through NALSA Helpline 15100.
Secretary DLSA Ganderbal launched the campaign by fixing banners of NALSA helpline 15100 (toll free) at different places within the District particularly at Front Office DLSA Ganderbal and Subsidiary Jail Dignibal Ganderbal. In addition the PLVs (Adhikar Mitras) of District Ganderbal also participated in the campaign by fixing banners of NALSA helpline toll free number 15100 at various public places, including hospitals, Tehsil offices, police stations, schools, and legal aid clinics etc.
By promoting this initiative, the District Ganderbal is taking a significant step towards ensuring that justice is accessible to all, particularly marginalized and vulnerable sections of society.
