Srinagar, Oct 23: Security forces Wednesday morning launched a search operation in Wanigam area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, reports said.
Following the inputs of suspected militant activity in the area, Indian army and J&K police cordoned off the area, securing strategic points in and around Wanigam.
A large number of troops are presently conducting thorough searches in the area, a local news agency reported.
