Srinagar, Oct 23: Razdan Pass in Gurez Valley received fresh snowfall on Wednesday while the Jammu and Kashmir Meteorological Department has forecast light rain and snow for the higher reaches of North Kashmir late tonight and early tomorrow.
An official said that Razdan Pass received fresh light snowfall, but traffic on the Bandipora-Gurez road remained accessible for vehicles.
Meanwhile, a Meteorological official stated that the weather system will bring a brief spell of precipitation to elevated areas but is not expected to cause major disruptions, news agency NVI reported.
“The possibility of very light rain or light snow will be confined to higher altitudes in north Kashmir, starting late tonight and continuing into early tomorrow,” he said.
