Srinagar: The Kashmir-based medico cum noted health columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been awarded with certification in Global Health Policy from prestigious University of Tokyo, the top public universities in Japan.
The certification will enable Dr Itoo to get familiar with principles and theories of global health challenges and upskilled in guidelines and strategies that govern the implementation and reception of health initiatives globally. Global Health Policy covers multiple issues including health advocacy, health governance, acute disease surveillance, disease burden, health systems strengthening, non-communicable diseases, and others. Pertinently, Dr Itoo is working as a doctor in SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Jammu and is affiliated with reputed medical organizations like American College of Physicians(USA), Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India(RSSDI); Endocrine Society(USA).
