Jammu: National general Secretary and Incharrge of J&K affairs, Tarun Chugh, on Friday said that fire crackers will be burnt on 8th of October in Delhi and not in Karachi. It may be mentioned that the results for Assembly elections will be declared on 8th of October.
Chugh said that NC and Cong have been working on Pakistani agenda and want to revive militancy and separatism in J&K. “BJP, right since day one, has consistently been saying that NC-Cong alliance is working on Pak agenda,” he said, and added, “Our stand has been vindicated by the Defence Minister of Pakistan Khawaja Asif, who said that Pakistan fully supports NC-Cong alliance”. NC says that it will release jailed militants and stone pelters and its alliance partner Cong is mum over this which means it also fully supports NC, he said. People of J&K have come to know the evil designs of NC-Cong and will teach these dynastic parties a lesson in these Assembly elections, the BJP National General Secretary said. “The heavy voter turn out in the first 2 phases of Assembly elections clearly establishes that people have rejected NC-Cong alliance,” Chugh said, while adding, “The trends and ground report of the 2 phases clearly indicate that BJP will form next govt in J&K”. He said, “On 8th of October, fire crackers will be burnt in Delhi and not in Karachi as Pakistani backed parties i.e NC-Cong alliance will be defeated”.
Chugh said that BJP abrogated Article 370 after which there is nearly 70% decline in militancy related activities and there is peace in J&K. Development is taking place at a fast pace in J&K after abrogation of Article 370, he said.
“Both NC and Cong want to bring back Article 370 and push J&K towards militancy and unrest,” Chugh said, while adding, “BJP will never allow this to happen at any cost and it may be noted that Aricle 370 is history now”.
Chugh said that cinemas have started operating in Kashmir after 3 decades and Tiranga is also being hoisted in Lal Chowk. “From militancy hub J&K has now become tourist hub,” Chugh said, and added, “Film shootings have also started in Kashmir after decades”. Record number of 2 cr tourists have visited Kashmir in last year, he said adding that people are with development agenda of PM Modi.
