Jammu : Former minister, NEC Member and BJP HQ in charge Priya Sethi has taken a strong note on the statement of Pakistan defence Minister who has completely exposed the NC and the Congress for persuing the Pak agenda in J & K
Addressing an election rally for BJP Candidate for Jammu east former minister said that Pakistan is unnecessary interfering in J & K elections and it has proved that Pakistan is giving directions to Congress and NC so that disruption and disturbances will again be seen in Kashmir which is now calm and peaceful after abrogation of article 370 by Modi Government. Sethi demanded clarification that too publicily from Rahul Gandhi & Farooq Abdullah on recent statement from Pakistan Defence Minister .
She further added that “ this is now a established fact that both National Conference (NC) and Congress want to keep Jammu and Kashmir on the boil for their political interests and they have no feelings of the common Kashmiris.
Priya said that people of Valley have now trusted on the democracy setup and that is the reason of high turnout of voters in Ist Phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir “The people of valley want peaceful atmosphere and they are aware that this is possible only in Modi Govt “She added
Sethi said “It is disheartening to witness the Congress and National Conference prioritize political gains over national interest. Their push to reinstate provisions that have historically hindered the integration and development of Jammu and Kashmir aligns suspiciously with the narratives propagated by Pakistan.”
Priya Sethi further said. “Given that the Congress is in alliance with the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, it is imperative for Rahul Gandhi to publicly address how they reconcile their position with statements that echo Pakistan’s agenda. This lack of clarity raises serious questions about their commitment to national integrity.” Sethi emphasized that the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 has led to significant advancements in the region, including increased investments, improved infrastructure, and enhanced security measures and increased tourists flow. “Since the revocation, we have seen a positive transformation in Jammu and Kashmir, with the integration of the region into the national mainstream. The development initiatives launched by the central government have created new opportunities for the youth, fostering a sense of belonging and hope,” she remarked. Priya said “it is essential for all of us to safeguard our unity and integrity.”
Sethi urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain and “We must unite against any attempts that threaten our hard-won stability and peace. The people deserve a future built on development and harmony, not on divisive politics,” she asserted. She added that The BJP remains steadfast in its commitment to uphold the sovereignty and integrity of Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring that the region continues on the path of peace, progress, and integration with the rest of India.
