Kathua : As part of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative, a voter awareness event was organized on Thursday at Government Higher Secondary School, Jakhbar falling in Assembly Constituency 67-Kathua (SC).
Hosted by District SVEEP Cell, the event focused to highlight the importance of voting and inspire greater electoral involvement, particularly among the youth and first-time voters.
The event featured a range of activities designed to engage the local community. Special sessions were held to educate students, teachers, and community members about the electoral process, the significance of each vote, and the role of elections in strengthening democracy. Interactive presentations and discussions provided insights into the importance of ethical voting and how every vote contributes to shaping the future of the nation.
