Pulwama: District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar Friday chaired a meeting to take an extensive review of the ongoing developmental projects of various departments in the district.
Threadbare review was held on implementation of CM’s decisions, utilization of funds and various Central sponsored & State Sector Schemes and other Developmental Projects being implemented in the district.
It was also given out that the work on maternity hospital would be started soon while as CT scan machine in district hospital will be installed in next two months. The meeting was informed that the land for construction of community hall has been identified.
DDC Pulwama has issued instructions to all District Officers to gear up the process for completion of targets and utilization of 100 % funds well before the end of financial 2017-18. He instructed the officers to aware general public about centrally sponsored schemes and ensure interdepartmental coordination for implementation of PSGA Act etc. He also stressed CEO Municipal Cooperation for the identification of the land for the Urinals in the Town. DDC directed the concerned officers for to take the effective steps for the extension of Fruit Mandi in stipulated time.
Meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, CEO MC Xen PWD R&B, Xen PHE, Xen PMGSY, DSWO, AD FCS &CA besides other district /Sectoral officers of various departments were attended the meeting.
