New Delhi, Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled a special booklet detailing the achievements of the first 100 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term.
Amit Shah highlighted that the Lakhpati Didi Yojana has added 11 lakh women in just 100 days, with one crore women now earning over ₹1 lakh annually, allowing them to live with dignity.
Shah also announced that PM Modi’s birthday will be celebrated as ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ from September 17 to October 2, with party workers aiding the public.
He praised Modi’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy, honored by 15 nations, and celebrated by 140 crore Indians.
Shah noted that the BJP and its allies have secured a mandate, marking a rare moment of political stability over the past 60 years.
He credited the Modi government’s policies for strengthening both internal and external security and praised the New Education Policy for integrating ancient and modern education systems while honoring regional languages.
The Home Minister outlined the approval of ₹3 lakh crore in infrastructure projects, including the linkage of 25,000 unconnected villages and the development of the Wadhawan Mega Port in Maharashtra.
Additionally, the government has focused on agriculture by raising MSP for Kharif crops, removing the minimum export price on onions and basmati rice, and increasing duties on imports of certain oils.
Under the Prime Minister’s Rural Roads Scheme-4 (PMGSY-IV), approval has been granted for constructing or upgrading 62,500 km of roads and bridges to connect 25,000 villages, with ₹49,000 crore in central assistance. The Government is also investing ₹50,600 crore to enhance the national road network, including eight National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects covering 936 km. Lastly, the launch of the Agrisure fund aims to transform agriculture
