“Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under Modi’s leadership, has already said for restoring of statehood after elections but Congress is merely trying to capitalize on this issue for political gains”, Priya Sethi asserted. She further emphasized that the current administration has made significant progress in other areas such as development and security in Jammu and Kashmir. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir are well aware of the steps being taken by Modi government for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. People of Jammu and Kashmir know that promises made by Congress in their manifesto are not new and people are asking direct questions to the leadership of Congress that what they have done for people of J & K during last seventy years excepting misleading statement and fake promises. Priya further said that it is only BJP which thinks always for the people and has demonstrated a clear commitment to address the issues of Jammu and Kashmir.
