During her address, Mehbooba Mufti revealed her long-standing connection with Tral, stating that she has been visiting the area since the peak of militancy. She assured people that the PDP would continue its efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue.
Mehbooba Mufti also focused on development in Tral, assuring to connect the town with Pahalgam via Bhatnoor, a long-standing demand of the locals. She spoke about the establishment of a mini-secretariat and other projects as well.
The PDP president highlighted her party’s achievements, including the approval of AIIMS at Awantipora and the establishment of the Islamic University in the same area, which has brought relief to students from the region.
