Congress announces list of star campaigners for phase 2 J&K polls; Kharge, Sonia, Rahul among top names

Srinagar, Sep 06: Indian National Congress (INC) on Friday announced its 40 star campaigners for the elections to the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir.

A list issued by Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal said, “In accordance with Section 77(1) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, we wish to inform you of the designated star campaigners of the Indian National Congress who will be participating in the ensuing second phase of the general elections to the Legislative Assembly of Jammu & Kashmir, scheduled to be held on the 25th of September, 2024”.
The officially designated star campaigners include Malikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, K C Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Ambika Soni, Bharatsingh Solanki, Tariq Hameed Karra, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Jairam Ramesh, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Sachin Pilot, Mukesh Agnihotri, Charanjit Singh Channi, Salman Khurshid, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, Syed Nasir Hussain, Vikar Rasool Wani, Rajani Patil, Rajiv Shukla, Manish Tewari, Imran Pratapgarhi, Kishori Lal Sharma, Pramod Tiwari, Raman Bhalla, Tarachand, Chaudhary Lal Singh, Imran Masood, Pawan Khera, Supriya Shrinate, Kanhaiya Kumar, Manoj Yadav, Divya Maderna, Shahnawaz Chaudhary, Neeraj Kundan, Rajesh Lilothia, Alka Lamba, and Srinivas B V.
