Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jammu District have solved a motorcycle theft case, arresting two accused individuals and recovering the stolen vehicle.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that On August 15-16, Prince Malhotra, a resident of Puran Nagar, Talab Tillo, reported the theft of his motorcycle (JK02DJ 3588) to Police Post Talab Tillo. Stating that an FIR was registered at Police Station Nowabad, the Police in its statement further said that a team led by Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo, with technical assistance and guidance from senior officers, worked tirelessly to solve the case. Police in its statement further said “following a thorough investigation, Rahul Kumar, a resident of Bhawani Nagar, and Sahil Kumar (alias Bhalla), a resident of Om Nagar Camp, were apprehended. After questioning, both accused admitted to the theft, leading to the recovery of the stolen motorcycle”.
