Kupwara, Sep 01: National Conference (NC) senior leader and contesting candidate from Lolab constituency Qaiser Jamsheed Lone Sunday said that the pre-poll alliance between National Conference and Congress was aimed to keep Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) away from power.
“People across Jammu and Kashmir are fully aware that only NC and Congress can compete with BJP, so it was high time for people to rise to the occasion and vote in favor of the coalition candidates to thwart any further undemocratic assault,” Lone said.
He hoped that NC-Congress alliance will get majority in assembly polls and form the government. Lone appealed the people to vote for him so that he can serve them. “ I will try my level best to raise the issues of people so that they are addressed,” Lone said.
