Srinagar : Days after the Election Commission of India directed immediate transfer of police chiefs of Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Handwara districts in Kashmir, the J&K government on Friday posted four new officers as Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP).
Earlier, the Commission on Friday approved Imtiyaz Hussain Mir as Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar; Mohammad Zaid as SSP, Baramulla; Ghulam Jeelani Wani as SSP Kupwara; and Ifroze Ahmad as SP Handwara.
