Srinagar/Nov,14: An army man and a militant were killed in ongoing gunfight in Kulgam district of southern Kashmir on Tuesday.
Army’s spokesperson Col RK Pandey confirmed that an army soldier and a militant have been killed in the ongoing gun-battle. The operation is going on, he added.
Earlier, reports said that two army soldiers were injured in the Kulgam gunfight.
Reports said that forces launched a cordon and search operation in Nowbug Kund village of Devsar area in the district following inputs about the presence of some militants.
