B’gam : Thousands of devotees from across the Kashmir Valley gathered at the revered shrine of Hazrat Sultan Syed Mohammad Ali Aali (RA) in the Pakherpora area of Budgam district, on Saturday to participate in the annual Poshak Bandhi ceremony.
The Poshak Bandhi, a traditional event marking the ceremonial dressing of the saint’s shrine, is a significant day in the religious calendar for the people of this region. The ceremony, deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions of Kashmir, drew worshippers from all corners of the valley.
Local residents said that This shrine holds a special place in our hearts, adding therein that the Poshak Bandhi is not just a ceremony but a reminder of the saint’s teachings and the spiritual heritage of our region.
They also said that they never miss the annual gathering. “Every year, I make it a point to attend this ceremony. It gives me peace and strengthens my faith,” They said.
