Kishtwar : In a significant move to instill the patriotic zeal among people and students of Kishtwar, the District Headquarters Kishtwar on Wednesday witnessed a remarkable turnout of 20,000 participants in the Tiranga Rally and Convert led by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav along with SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom.
Participants from all walks of life joined the rally, which began at Dak Bungalow Chowk and traversed through key locations including Bun Astan, Hidyal Chowk, Mini Bus Stand, Main Bus Stand via Gurudwara Chowk, culminating at Chowgan Ground after passing the main market.
The event commenced with a formal flag-off ceremony at Dakbanglow, where Dr. Devansh Yadav unfurled the National Flag amidst a crowd of eager participants.
Addressing the participants at Chowgan Ground, the DC emphasized the importance of such rallies in fostering a sense of national pride and unity among the youth. He highlighted the role of the younger generation in preserving the nation’s heritage and urged them to continue upholding the values of patriotism and integrity.
He also commended the efforts of the Education Department, Department of Youth Services & Sports, civil and police administration for organizing the event.
The rally also featured a Motor Bike Rally led by the District Youth Services and Sports Department under the guidance of DYSSO Kishtwar Jaffer H Sheikh along with other concerned. The special contingents drawn from the Police Department, NCC volunteers, and ICDS Kishtwar and CRPF added grace to the rally.
CEO Kishtwar, Javeed Ahmed Kichloo, reported that approximately 17,000 students from all 85 schools in Zone Nagseni and Zone Kishtwar participated in the rally. They were accompanied by 500 dedicated escort teachers, contributing significantly to the event’s grand success.
The rally concluded at Chowgan Ground, where it merged into a Tiranga Concert organized by the District Administration in collaboration with the JKAACL as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The concert featured stirring performances by singers Touqeer Ali, Burhan Sheikh, and Mohinder Soni, who ignited the audience’s patriotic spirit with their renditions of patriotic songs.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, students and locals for their participation, making the rally and concert a grand success. He also emphasized the immortal spirit of love and sacrifice for the nation.
Ramban Admin organizes “Mega Wheels Tiranga Yatra” to honor Martyrs, Freedom Fighters
Ramban : The District Administration, Ramban on Wedesday organised a massive “Bike and Car Tiranga Yatra” as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to pay homage to the martyrs and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence. The Yatra also recognized the invaluable contributions of the Indian Army and other security forces in safeguarding the nation.
The event led by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, commenced from the Ramban Viaduct to Chanderkote. The rally passed through key areas including Ramban town, Chanderkote market, and Maitra.
It witnessed enthusiastic participation from DDC Member Renuka Katoch, prominent citizens, youth, social workers, members of the Beopar Mandal and other dignitaries.
Senior officers, including SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar, SSP Traffic Rohit Baskotra, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, along with other officers, also participated in the Bike Rally, which saw the involvement of over 300 bikes & cars.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted that the District Administration is organizing a series of patriotic events across the district to ignite a sense of nationalism and pride among the people. He paid tribute to the martyrs for their supreme sacrifices and encouraged citizens, particularly the youth, to actively participate in the celebration of the 78th Independence Day in their areas.
The Deputy Commissioner urged people to embrace the campaign’s theme of “Har Ghar Tiranga, Swachhta Sangram, Ek Ped Maa ke Naam, and Ek Ped Shaheedon ke Naam” by participating in the tree plantation drives dedicated to mothers and martyrs.
