4 Chemist Shops Seized For Selling Nrx Medicine Illegally In Mirbazar

Kulgam: Drug Inspection team Anantnag, assisted by Mirbazar Police, seized four chemist shops for illegally selling NRx drugs in Mirbazar area of Qazigund on Wednesday.
An official told that we have received a reliable information that Noor Mohammad Wani son of Abdul Rehman Wani resident Khudwani, Kulgam who runs Noor Pharmacy shop in Khrewan Lassipora where he sells (NRX) banned medicines and sells them to the local people.
“On receiving this information, Drug Control Officer Anantnag was contacted and jointly raided the said shop in Khrewan Lassipora today at around 1525 hrs in which NRX drugs i.e Chlordiazepoxide & Clidinium Bromide Tablets:- 100 tablets, clonazepam Petril MD 0.25:- 80 tablets etc of intoxicants were seized and the bills revealed that he has purchased NRX drugs in huge quantities and was selling them to the local youth without a doctor’s prescription”, he said. In this regard the registration of Noor Pharmacy shop has been suspended on the spot and his shop has been frozen. And along with this three more shops have been frozen which include shops which are 1. Salman Medical Shop 2. Health Zone Medical Shop from Mirbazar and 3. Manzoor Pharmacy Furrah Anantnag.
