Police organises Tiranga Rallies in G’bal, B’gam, Sopore

Plantation Drives Also Held In Various Police Establishments

Srinagar: Police on Tuesday organized Tiranga Rallies, designed to instil patriotism and encourage citizens to honour the sacrifices made by the Nation’s brave hearts in Ganderbal, Budgam, Kulgam and Sopore. Besides, plantation drives were also held in various police establishments.
In Ganderbal, police organized Tiranga Rally in Subdivision Kangan with huge fervour and enthusiasm, flagged off by SDPO Kangan SP Muzaffar Jan alongwith DDCs, CO 118Bn CRPF, Adhoc COs of BSF, SSB, SHO Kangan & SHO Gund. The rally started from Police Station Kangan & concluded at Govt. Degree College Kangan. Besides, under the theme “Ek Paed Shahedun Kay Naam”, Plantation Drive were held at Govt. High School Dab & Panchayat Ghar Chount-Waliwar in the loving memory of Martyr Soldiers Shabir Ahmad Malik & Riyaz Ahmad Sheikh. DySP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad, NOKs of Martyr Soldiers, other Police Officers, Officers of Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal and School students participated in the drive.
In Budgam, Police and Civil administration organized Tiranga Rally from Boys Higher Secondary School Budgam to Old Bus Stand Budgam. The rally was led by SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar and ADDC Budgam Khurshid Ahmad Shah. ADC Budgam, ASP Budgam and officers from Paramilitary forces, officers from Civil and Police administration alongwith local citizens, employees, and students from different schools enthusiastically participated in the rally. Addressing the participants, SSP Budgam emphasized that this rally is a reaffirmation of our citizens’ commitment to uphold the National integrity.
In Sopore, police organized Trianga rally alongwith civil administration during which SP Sopore Smt. Divya D and ADC Sopore Shabir Ahmad Raina addressed the gathering. Later, SP Sopore alongwith ADC Sopore visited the families of Police martyrs and assured them that they are part of the police family and police is committed for their wellbeing. Moreover, a plantation drive under the theme ” Ek Paed Shaheedon Ke Naam ” was also organized.
In Kulgam, Tiranga Rally was inaugurated and led by DC Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan and SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal-. The rally commenced from DPL Kulgam, passes through Town Kulgam, Qaimoh, Khudwani, Mirbazar, Qazigund, Devsar and other villages and peacefully concluded at Ganta Ghar Kulgam. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, citizens, and officials, all united in their display of patriotism and love for the nation. Participants carried the national flag and banners, symbolizing their commitment to the country.
