Srinagar, Aug 13: GOC Northern Command Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar Tuesday exhorted all ranks of officers to maintain high tempo of operations, and ensure security & safety for ongoing and upcoming events in the region.
The GOC made these remarks during his visit to forward locations of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) in Doda and Kishtwar districts. The officer reviewed the ongoing anti-terrorist operations being conducted in light of increased terrorist activity in the Jammu region.
He assessed the options for deployment of additional forces being inducted into the areas, and emphasized on synergy with J&K Police, and other para-military forces.
