Tiranga Rallies organized across JK to mark I’Day celebrations

Baramulla: In preparation for the 78th Independence Day, the District Administration Baramulla organized a series of Tiranga rallies across sub-divisional, tehsil and block levels to foster national pride and unity.
The Tiranga rallies held across the district featured participants carrying the national flag, chanting patriotic slogans, and marching through significant local areas. At the sub-divisional level, rallies were held with Sub-Divisional Heads guiding participants through prominent landmarks. Tehsil headquarters hosted rallies that involved local school students, community members and officials in various patriotic activities. Additionally, block-level rallies saw community-wide participation with displays of Tiranga.
A mega Tiranga rally was held at the Baramulla headquarter. The Rally commenced at Showkat Ali Stadium and concluded at Akbar Chowk. Led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Arshad Ahmad Khan, the rally involved students, officials, officers, and locals, serving as the focal point of the district’s Independence Day celebrations.
ACR Baramulla emphasized the significance of these events, stating, “The Tiranga rallies represented our collective commitment to celebrating the values of freedom and unity. We encouraged all residents to actively participate and reflect on the sacrifices that have shaped our nation. Together, we ensured a vibrant and inclusive Independence Day celebration.”

I’Day-2024: Pledge Taking Ceremonies held across B’la
Participants commit to National Dev, honoring the legacy of Freedom Fighters
Baramulla: In the spirit of patriotism and national pride, a series of pledge taking ceremonies were on Monday organized in all government offices across the district Baramulla in anticipation of Independence Day 2024.
These ceremonies, held at the DC Office Baramulla, subdivision headquarters, tehsil offices, municipal offices, and other government establishments, were a pledge to honour the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and to work tirelessly for the development and progress of India.
At the District Commissioner’s (DC) Office in Baramulla, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Baramulla, Arshad Ahmad Khan, administered the pledge to all the officers, officials, and other staff members of the DC office to commit to hoisting the tricolour, honouring the legacy of our freedom fighters, and dedicating to the nation’s development.
Similar pledge ceremonies were held at subdivision headquarters, tehsil offices, and municipal offices across the district, where officials echoed the sentiments of patriotism and responsibility.
These ceremonies were marked by the enthusiastic participation of employees, who expressed their unwavering commitment to the nation’s growth and development.

Har Ghar Tiranga campaign: Govt Deptts, Educational Institutions organise Tiranga Rallies
Jammu: In a remarkable display of national unity, Government departments and Educational institutions across Jammu division organized vibrant Tiranga rallies on Monday as part of the ‘HarGharTiranga’ campaign.
Floriculture Department: Department of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Jammu on Monday organized a Tiranga Rally, Tiranga Pledge and Plantation Drive in iconic Bagh-e-Bahu Garden, Jammu.
The Tiranga rally was organised under the supervision of Director General, Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, S. Jatinder Singh.
Joint Director, Vikrant Sharma, Deputy Director, Sunil Singh, Floriculture Officer HQ, Ishtiaq Ahmad Malik, Assistant Floriculture Officers, Atul Sharma and PurnimaBajala besides staff members of the Department were also present in the rally.
The Director General informed that the Tiranga Rallies are being organized by the Department to pay respect to our National Flag and make the people aware about the sacrifices made by our Great Freedom Fighters. He asked the staff members to take part in HarGharTiranga campaign in order to celebrate Independence Day- 2024 enthusiastically.
As a Tribute to the Martyrs “EkPedShaheedonKeNaam” the Plantation drive was also carried out by the Directorate in Bagh-e-Bahu Garden in presence of all the officers and officials.
The Tiranga Pledge was also taken by the participant at the Concluding Ceremony of the Tiranga Rally. The participants chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai and VandeMataram in one voice.
GDC Vijaypur: NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of Government Degree College Vijaypur organizes a Tiranga Rally as a part of the ongoing “HarGharTiranga campaign”.The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the college, (Prof.) VandanaVerma where she highlighted that India’s gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one witnessing sacrifices of hundreds of unsung heroes. In the rally the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and environmental responsibility were also tied to the spirit of Independence.Students of the college along with NSS volunteers participated in the Tiranga Rally raising slogans like “Bharat Mata ki Jai”, “Jai Hind”, “Jai Bharat” and “InquilabZindabad”.
Central University Jammu: To mark India’s Independence Day celebrations, a Tiranga Rally was organised by Central University Jammu.The rally was flagged off by Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, CUJ.Faculty members, staff and students joined the celebrations with Tricolours, which started from DDE building to the village Suchani.

I’Day: Massive Tiranga Rally creates electrifying atmosphere of national pride at Sopore
Baramulla: In a significant demonstration of national unity and patriotic enthusiasm, a grand Tiranga Rally was on Monday held in Sopore town, drawing hundreds of citizens from all walks of life, marching together in a powerful symbol of collective identity and love for the nation.
The event, which began at the District Police Lines (DPL) Sopore, saw an unprecedented gathering of students, police officers, government officials, and local residents, all marching in unison in anticipation of India’s 78th Independence Day.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore, S.A. Raina; Superintendent of Police, Sopore, Divya Dev and other senior civil and police administration officers took part in the rally, which passed through different localities of the town.
The event featured participants carrying the Indian flag, chanting patriotic slogans, and marching through significant local areas, filling the air with patriotic fervour, creating an electrifying atmosphere of national pride.
ADC expressed his gratitude to all the participants, stating that the Tiranga Rally is a testament to the unbreakable spirit of unity that binds the nation.
Similar sentiments were expressed by SP Sopore, mentioning that it is heartening to see people from all backgrounds coming together to celebrate freedom and reaffirm their commitment to the nation’s progress.

I’Day-2024: Tiranga Rally held at Kulgam
Kulgam: In the run-up to Independence Day 2024, the District Administration Kulgamon Monday organized a vibrant Tiranga Rally, here.
The rally was led by Additional District Development Commissioner, (ADDC) Kulgam, Bashir Ahmad Wani from Mini-Secretariat Kulgam.
The tiranga rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, local residents, officers, and officials from various departments, proudly holding the national flag.
The event showcased the community’s deep sense of patriotism and commitment to the values of freedom and unity.
It served as a powerful reminder of the significance of Independence Day and highlighted the collective pride and dedication of the community in celebrating this important occasion.
