Srinagar : Under the theme “Swachhata Pakwada” Police in Shopian on Saturday organized Swachhata Pakwada (Cleanliness Drive) at DPL Shopian that was officers and other ranks of district Police Shopian.
The cleanliness drive was also participated by Dy SP Hqrs Shopian Syed Javeed Ahmad, along with other Police officers/officials of the district. The main aim of the drive was to foster the spirit of cleanliness among the jawans with a firm belief and to encourage others to take it as endeavour to devote their time for cleanliness.
Moreover, disinfectants were sprayed to make the premises of DPL Shopian clean. The piled-up garbage and waste along the boundary walls was removed and all the garbage was dumped up and destroyed safely, for avoiding spread of infection & disease.
