Tiranga Run witnesses enthusiastic participation at Shopian

Shopian: In a significant effort towards instilling patriotic fervor among the citizens in the run up to the celebrations of Independence Day, the District Administration, Shopian organized a grand Tiranga Run/ marathon at Shopian.
The run commenced from Batapora Stadium and concluded at DPL Shopian. The rally saw the enthusiastic participation of students, civil society and local public and officials who proudly carried the national flag, showcasing their patriotism.
The Run was graced by the presence of distinguished officers including the ADC Shopian, ACR, ASP, Dy SP, other officers from YSS, Education, police and paramilitary forces and representatives from the Education, youth services and sports and other departments.
Their active participation further highlighted the importance of this event in fostering a sense of national pride among the youth.
Tiranga Rallies were also held at various places of the district including at Keller, Kanjiullar blocks by the tehsil and block administrative offices and at Shopian town, a rally was taken out by MC Shopian.
