Srinagar : SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar on Friday chaired a security review meeting at the Conference Hall of DPL Awantipora and discussed at length overall security arrangements for the forthcoming events.
The meeting was attended by COs of Army (RR units), COs of CRPF, officers from other sister agencies and officers of Police District Awantipora. During the meeting, the officers discussed the security developments along with the current challenges including the measures to counter these challenges. SSP Awantipora emphasized the need to review and enhance the security grid and to design effective counter insurgency strategies for smooth and peaceful conduct of the forthcoming events. During the meeting, officers discussed various inputs, security aspects and provided valuable suggestions and feedback for strengthening the security grid.
